We open at 2pm on Friday November 29, 2024. We are open on weekends while tree supplies last. Check website for updates. Hours can be found HERE

Do we need an appointment to come for a Christmas tree?

No.

I can’t come during your listed hours. Is there an alternative time I can get a tree?

Only trees with colour ribbons are for sale. Cut-Your-Own trees without ribbons have been left unflagged intentionally. Only a portion of the trees are ready to be cut each year, to ensure supply for future years.

Do you sell or rent live trees in pots?

No.

Will a Christmas tree last until Christmas if I buy it early?

All Christmas trees (pre-cut and cut-your-own) must have a fresh cut off the bottom of the trunk just before setting it up in the stand with water. After about 20 minutes the cut trunk begins to seal itself off. The fresh cut allows the tree to uptake the water it needs for the best needle retention. You may store your tree outside where it is cold and out of the sun until you are ready to set it up. A fresh trunk cut is necessary at that time.

Should I add anything to the water in my stand to help the Christmas tree stay fresher longer?

No. Use plain tap water.

Do you have wagon rides?

No.

Do you have washrooms?

We have on office washroom in the Shop for emergencies.

If we lost something at your farm can I contact someone about it?

Yes. We have a Lost and Found Box every year. Call us at (519)856-1009. Please leave a clear message with your info if no one answers.

Are there any COVID-19 or health rules this year?

The health/safety of our visitors and staff is our priority. Because Covid-19 and other respiratory illnesses are of concern to all at this time of year, we encourage the use of masks if you feel unwell. Masks and hand sanitizer are available at the check in table.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes. Well-behaved dogs are allowed, but MUST be on leash at all times, including in the fields. We ask that you keep your pets close and pick up after them.

What type of clothing should I wear to cut a Christmas tree?

Wear warm clothing, hats and gloves. We recommend waterproof boots for walking in Christmas tree fields. Work gloves are useful for cutting a tree. Children should be dressed for the cold and wet.

What time does Cut-Your-Own close at the end of the day?

We stop sending people out to the fields at 4:30 PM. No tree cutting is allowed in the dark.

We have handsaws and sleds to borrow for cutting and carrying trees. But you may bring your own hand saw, sled and rope. We do not allow chainsaws.
